Time Out
by Justin M. Smith
The walk to the chair is like Life. You start out looking at the whole gym and, as you walk, your vision just gets smaller and smalller, like your life with every minute you waste. You start to visualize everything in a different perspective like it's your first time. Then you get used to it. Coming to the chair doesn't bother you as much as it did the time before.
Then you sit down, but before you sit down, you take a brief look outside and realize what the world surrounding you is all about. When you hit the seat, it's like a whole new world, like heaven or hell depending on your attitude toward why you got sent out there. In your head, you ask yourself, "Who? What? When? Why? Where? How?" When you can answer all those questions, you ask yourself if it was worth it, or did you deserve it? Then you have faced Reality and beat it.
Then you go face the world again. You try your hardest not to do it again and to learn from your mistake.

Time to head on back.
